1. The app works with no account

You can use Daily to do lists with no account and no email address. Without an email address, your tasks and your saved items stay on your device.

2. The check for email features

The app can ask the server if the email features are available. That request holds no identifier. The app sends it only when you have an account or 5 or more saved items, and when you open an email screen.

3. What the server stores when you give an email address

When you give an email address, the server stores these items:

The server does not store a name, a password, or your IP address.

4. Shared lists

When you open a shared list, the server gets the changes that you make to that list. A guest who adds an item gives a display name. The server stores the name with that list only. The owner of the list sees the name.

5. Counts

The server counts 7 events: a sign-in that starts, a sign-in that ends, a weekly email that goes out, a weekly email that a person opens, a list that a person shares, a shared list that a person opens on the web, and a tap on the App Store button. A count holds no user identifier and no email address. The weekly email has one image that tells the server that the email was opened.

6. What the service does not do

The service has no advertisement and no third-party analytics. The service does not sell data.

7. Delete my data

"Delete my data" removes your email address and all synced data from the server. The control is in the app (Settings, "Email & web") and at the end of the web view. The data on your iPhone stays on your iPhone.

8. Contact

The owner of the app adds a contact address here before an App Store review.
